I’m behind. Oops.
But better behind from being busy,
than having nothing to show for wasted time.
Two Saturdays ago…6 mile run. First long run of marathon training and it was not fun. I cannot wait for the Blue Shark group to start in a couple weeks.
Last Monday night: 3 miles. Hot…but Florida is always hot. 🙂
End of July already?!?! At least my workout calendar is colorful.
Last Saturday: 7 faster miles. Felt good…feeling fast. Had to remind myself it was a training run and to slow down…that’s never happened before.
Sunday: Rays game with my brother. DJ Kitty bobblehead was the give-away. Yes!
Came home. Cooler temps. Slight drizzle. Off to run! 2 quick miles.
Training is official. Schedule
is now posted in my calendar, at my desk and in my room. No turning back now!!
Tuesday night: 2 runs. 5 friends. 1 hot night.
Afterwards: 2 tacos. XX amount of chips. 🙂
Wednesday night: another Rays game! Ms. Trooper joined me for this one 🙂
I forgot the biggest update!! Today marks 1 week without any soda!
Woah! Didn’t really plan on cutting it out completely; I anticipated weening myself off of it. But during a stressful day a week ago I drank two sodas in one day; and did not feel good about it. The next day I decided to see how long I could go without it…and one week down!Now…
Onto the weekend!
