Goals for 9.

Hoping this keeps me more accountable…

I’ve done this on Facebook before…broadcast a goal in your status update and you are instantly more accountable. Just because you made it public.

Having a marketing degree is shining through with my goals for September; they are very SMART.

  • Specific
  • Measurable
  • Attainable
  • Realistic
  • Timely

There’s your University of Tampa College of Business lesson for the day. 😉

But honesty, setting goals has helped me so much in the past six months; personally, professionally, and for my fitness! I encourage you to set some goals for the month of September…only because meeting them feels so good!

Off my soap box…and numero uno…

Uno!
I’m proud to say that I have been able to cut out soda dramatically, not entirely, but I am no longer dependant on that bright green can to wake me up in the morning. Thank you Shakeology!!! So…moving forward, if I must have one soda, only one per week.

Dos!
When I eat out…eat better! That’s simple enough.

Tres!
Workout 6X per week with only 1 rest day. I want to stick to this…because that will mean that I’m doing a decent job at sticking to my Marathon Training program with InsaneMarathon.com.

Quatro!
DRINK. MORE. WATER. If you know me…you know that I sweat. Easily…and often…and a lot with a workout. *But supposedly the more you sweat the healthier you are…so that makes me the healthiest!* Therefore I lose more water than most and am prone to dehydration. So I might splurge. I’ve been wanting one of the lululemon water bottles for months now…and I might just get it. Why spend that much on a water bottle? For one, it’s glass, easy washing without extra nooks and crannies for mold to grow (eww) and two, look how pretty it is!

Cinco! Do more weights. My plank-a-days and the occasional push ups that Shaun T. makes me do has helped tone my arms; yay! However, I want more. And…adding some weight workouts focusing on my legs would help strengthen my knees and ankles for some upcoming long ass runs.

Seis! Lastly, become an Emerald Beachbody coach!! I can do it, I know I can. I just need to make it happen.

And I have a contest coming up!!! So go like my Facebook Page so that you can participate!

Go sweat some this weekend 🙂

I never do goals posts. Maybe I should make it a goal to do a goal post. Heh.
