Looking at the big picture of 2015 — it was absolutely epic. As I sit here on my couch, slurping my Starbucks (hello 4AM bedtime…) I am in awe by all that I was blessed with in 2015. They say that your 30’s are the best — they’re doing a good job at living up to it! Join me as I dive into my BIG reasons for deeming 2015 as an epic year.
Tampa ::: As a Tampa native, I took it upon myself to show you some of the secrets, festivals, keepsakes, and overall JUST FUN THINGS to do in Tampa! I also gave myself the high title of ‘Enforcer of #TampaLove’, and hope I live up to the name! Yes, Tampa is a little city (sometimes with a big city feel), but we have the best of both worlds.
Beaches ||| Downtown ||| Sports teams ||| Soho ||| Hyde Park ||| Seminole Heights ||| Ybor ||| Festivals ||| And most important to me, sunshine every d@mn day
Thanks to my relationship with the Tampa Bay Bloggers & Big City Events Tampa, 2015 was full of festivals, and a few of my own adventures thrown in.
#LiveSweatEat ::: 2015 has brought on food…and the pounds to show for my restaurant reviews #sorrynotsorry. But I gladly took up the challenge of upping my food photography skills (which are being practiced daily) and now have relationships with some of the tastiest restaurants & coffee shops in Tampa.
lululemon ::: By far, my biggest highlight of 2015. Five to six years ago, an ex first introduced me to lulu — he knew that, I, as a tomboy and lover of soft fabrics & spandex, would love the lululemon clothing line. It then became a tradition to visit the outlet store in Orlando whenever we were in the area. Fast forward to early 2015, Ryan reached out to me by word of mouth and by finding my little spot on the inter web — the rest is history. The feels of becoming/being a #lululemonambassaor cannot be put into words. I know that this amazing gift/opportunity/position/blessing opened so many doors in 2015, and will continue to open doors in 2016 and beyond. My lululemon family is the bestest and I love how I can make a visit just for warm hugs.
Lastly… growth ::: I have grown more into who I am meant to be in 2015. My brain has grown, my heart has grown, my blog has grown, even my social media influence has grown. My circle of friends has grown, my to-do is never ending, my community impact has grown ::: and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
From the bottom of my heart — I hope you had a joyous time celebrating the birth of 2016, and I wish that 2016 is a year of #goalcrushing for all of us!
