One way to look at Saturday… you have worked hard all week, have Saturday to get things done and have Sunday to recover. However, you and I both know that it can be hard to utilize your Saturday effectively — hellloooo interruptions or sinking into the couch. Here are a few tips to make your Saturday a productive one!

the morning. If you could be a professional morning-waster, well, I would be one! While lounging in bed is lie heaven, getting up & going will ensure for an active Saturday. Start you morning with coffee (because, well, coffee!) some breakfast, and then take it outside. The weather is soon to get a little cooler, and I *actually* can’t wait to run again! (oh hey, check out some free running techniques) And last weekend, I found and cute and quaint beach, that is relatively close — may just make it out there this weekend!
the main event. While it is sooo hard to get out of bed in the morning and get your workout in, afterwards — the endorphins are flowing and you’re ready to take on the day. To fully enjoy your Saturday, do something you really love — make it worthwhile! It’s easy to use some local sites & find an event, try out ticketsales.com to find something new in your area. A concert always make me happy, or find a local sporting event or comedy show. Step out of the box and do something different.
the grub. Food is a necessity, and not just for that gram pic! It is no surprise that I love to eat out, but in an effort to be more budget conscience (and waistline conscience), I am diligently eating at home more often. If you’re cooking at home, try something new to keep your different approach to the day. And if you’re out at your favorite place, don’t hesitate to try something new too!
