10 Simple Tips to a Healthier You — I know, I know, we’ve all seen a post like this before. We can probably recite a couple of the tips too: eat your veggies, drink more water, get your eight hours of sleep. [that last one always makes me laugh]
This is not your ‘typical’ version of healthy tips – but they are simple, daily things that you can do to help your body, physically & mentally.
wash your face before bed. My momma engrained this into me early on – I hated it then – but am grateful for it now. Trust me, your pores will thank you for not sleeping in make up & the daily grime your face collects.
floss. I may be including this one for myself… if you don’t want to dedicate to it daily, start off by making it a weekly habit and add on from there.
drink more water. I had to add in a basic one… sorry not sorry.
meditate. For your brain, your well-being, your sanity, your roommate, your coworkers, and sometimes even your patience. Just meditate.
have a cheat meal, we’re human. Of course in moderation – enjoy it!
declutter. Enjoy your collectables or nick-nacks, but take a day every few months or so and do a sweep. Sell what you can, donate some and make your living place a little more zen.
it’s ok to let friends go. Turning to a serious note… but this is not something we are taught when we’re young, nor it is really talked about. But it is ok if friends come in & out of your life.
exercise. We all endorphins make you happy – what other reason do you need?!
hug your family. They love you – show them. Or… share a Michelob ULTRA Pure Gold with them!
