Blogger Burnout ::: How I Cope.

It happens to the best of us.

Blogger Burn Out ::: How I Cope. #livesweatsleep

Deadlines. Recipes creating. Events. Tastings. Plus…your own life, work, fitness regime & personal ish! Blogger burn out is the real deal and can really, happen to anyone. Regardless of what your passion, always moving full speed ahead can catch up to ya!

So don’t let it get you down…

Step back. Evaluate. Act. Then get back to it!

Here is how I cope:

rock it out. Music has been my therapy ever since the ripe age of eight when I started piano lessons. Ever since then, any stressful situation, big change, breakup or happy dance — music is there. My playlists are endless & always evolving, plus a part of everyday life for me; helping me stay focused at my job and assisting the creativeness flow for a post.

change your scenery. Spice it up: if you write at home –> go to a coffee shop, if your coffee shop walls are boring now –> find a new one! Head to your local library, or even ask a fellow blogger friend to meet up and blog together — maybe they have a new place to share with ya! Change up your environment to get those creative juices flowin’ again.

take the day. For the day, leave it at home. Step away. Don’t check your phone as much. Have some fun. Rejuvenate. *you know where I go…Disney or the movies!

chat with others in your shoes. *disclaimer: I’m suuuuuuper duper lucky with this one…* If you are lucky enough to be friends with other bloggers and they’re local — well, dammit, get together with them!! Push aside, that maybe, they’re a different type of blogger — or even 10 years difference in age. Remember that both of you have the same passion for your individual blogs, and they experience they’re probably experiencing the same as you. But simply chatting with others can help strike ideas and even allow you to brainstorm/work on your blog without being tied to your computer. **tips: check and see if there are local or virtual groups that you can get connected with; the Tampa Bay Bloggers is local for me, and BGB Community is my chica-blogger-family that is nationwide!

read a book or share some blog love. I have always found that this usually helps with writer’s block. Reading someone else’s work can help reignite your own!

To my bloggy friends — how do you cope and reignite your passion?

Blogger burnout is a real thing. It happens to all of us. I think we just go through phases. I agree that meeting up with other bloggers (friends!) is a great way to change it up. Brainstorm, chit chat, share ideas….
