I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again… it’s no secret I love a tasty beverage, especially one with tequila. But, with Hurricane Irma churning and looming towards Tampa, we could all use a little spritz to lift our spirits as we hunker down.
thanks to my relationship with Castello del Poggio, I did receive complimentary bottles to enjoy for myself & recipe creation. as always, all opinions are my own.
The Castello del Poggio winery is nestled in the city of Piedmont, located in Northern Italy. The estate was originally help by the Bunéis family and is now held by the Zonin family since 1985. The estate is extravagant with 430 acres, with 390 acres dedicated to vineyards. Plus, it is the largest contiguous vineyard in Piedmont, the estate also sustains itself by producing 28% of its energy needs.
The Fizzy-Rita is light and refreshing, but has a little bite; and did you really think I would create a new beverage without tequila?! I made mine with homemade kombucha (thanks to my roommate), Espolon reposado tequila and Castello del Poggio’s Prosecco. So easy to make and perfect for any occasion.
