One thing I try to keep in my fridge is protein; it’s filling, your body loves it and can even boost your metabolism. Here are a few protiens you can always find in my fridge:
edamame: perfect to add to a salad, have with quinoa or eat them solo.
Dannon® Oikos® Nonfat Yogurt Drink: easy to find in the refrigerated area at your local Walmart, these yogurt drinks come in a 4-pack and are great for any time of day. I’ve found myself grabbing them as I run out the door to work or my fave spin class. #DannonAtWM
black beans: while they do have carbohydrates, black beans do have protein and are easy to add to meals.
nuts: great for on-the-go and a late night snack.
all the eggs. I know I’m not alone; breakfast is probably my favorite meal… for any meal. And did I just have scrambled eggs for dinner tonight?! Why yes, yes I did.
