Yes, you read that right. I am talking about the Marvel character from the hit R-rated movie that dropped more f-bombs than I say in a week, the movie where Ryan Reynolds was scorched and we still thought he was hot, and in my opinion — is the best movie ever. I [might] have seen it four times in theaters and have been contemplating seeing it every night this week…

Although Wade Wilson is no super hero and quite raunchy — he does have a few quirks we could all safely adapt.

he doesn’t give a f___, unless when necessary. The older I get, the more I realize that I also, should not always give a f___. Now yes, care about those you love (Deadpool did), care about your work (Deadpool did), and care about what you put into your body (Deadpool loves chimichangas). Don’t care about those negative peeps. Don’t care about those discouraging thoughts that creep into your head. Don’t care about anything that doesn’t push –> you –> towards –> your –> goals.

he has great one liners. Like really, he does, such as the one above, my fave! If you ever need a pick me up (and don’t mind f-bombs), Deadpool does the trick.

he has his branding down pat. Branding? Huh? Chat to any blogger or entrepreneur and we can talk your ear off for hours. The short version = your brand describes, engulfs, screams you — whether it be a visual, a mix of colors, a symbol, anything. When you see a red mask with large black ovals and beady white eyes = Deadpool. See what he did there?

he’s pretty damn optimistic. I’ll try not to give the entire movie away, but Wade (Deadpool) got sucker punched with the worst of the worst, was burned and had to restart from ground zero… But he still made us laugh, took punches like a champ, and although he hates being called a super-hero — he came out on top 😉
