Margarita Festival!

All the proof you need that it was a fun event!

*Disclaimer: All opinions are my own. However, the Tampa Bay Margarita Festival was gracious enough to comp my entry in return for utilizing my social media resources to spread the word of their awesome event.
On Saturday, May 25th, Curtis Hixon Park hosted the Tampa Bay Margarita Festival.
Here’s what you missed! 😉
That Saturday was a scorcher and I was worried about burning my Irish skin — but as soon as you walked into the festival there was a booth for sunscreen…score!
To give you a mental picture of the event … there were multiple vendors around the park — food trucks, booths for new restaurants &local companies, and of course margaritas.
Towards the corner of the park, a stage was set up for the four upcoming musical acts. And across the river, my pretty school was a nice backdrop with it’s Minarets. 😉
But VIP was the way to go — outside the museum, there were cabanas set up for private parties — and past the steps where yoga is held Sunday evenings @ 6PM there was the big tent. All festivities for the VIP’ers to enjoy were in the tent —  chairs, tables, loungers, and four bars with awesome bartenders. Having the bars inside the VIP tent was such a time-saver! Unfortunately, the lines for those guests who were general admission were long, time-consuming, and in direct sunlight…but that didn’t stop them! Lol…
There was a variety of margarita flavors, my fave was the Prickly Pear, so yummy! As part of the VIP treats, I also scored a bag of goodies, including this fancy cup that I may have refilled a few times 😉
I thought the festival was a blast; it was a fun time with friends, food and margaritas! The drinks were delicious, the food was salty & spicy – just how I like it, the music was great, and the atmosphere could have kept us there into the night.
And to close off the evening — FIREWORKS! I loved how they were going off within our little skyline!

There was a Sangria Festival last weekend or the one before — but it didn't get the advertisement it needed. And I drove by it…all in a parking lot so very small. But it was great to meet you!!
