#keepingITreal, I shared last summer, HERE, that I discovered I was experiencing anxiety attacks. Lucky for me, my bestie helped me talk it out and I immediately started treating it myself. Five months later, they can still creep up on me but I have taken steps to help me manage.
my music. Although this seems simple and my commute is short, switching from my ‘booty-poppin’/techno/jammin’ music to alternative, calmer tunes has been my best decision yet.
more water. This is one of my 2016 goals — more h2o is always a good idea.
natrol 5-HTP fast dissolve. Once I realized I had bouts of anxiety, I knew that I did not want to treat it with any type of drug; thus I was really grateful to discover Natrol 5-HTP Fast Dissolve. The tablets are completely drug free and actually derived from plants. I keep these on hand for stressful days — or before big social events. Last week, they came in handy when my boss asked for every.single.report under the sun; my boss doesn’t stress me out per say, but the Natrol 5-HTP Fast Dissolve helped me stay focused and not get stressed out when he kept adding more to my To-Do list. The quick dissolving tablets boost your happy and increase your bodies’ serotonin levels — a sure fix for anxiety, stress, and whatever else your day might throw at you. declutter. Since the beginning of this month, I have been taking small steps to declutter my room; it is not the biggest — my bed, desk, dresser, not much extra room. In my declutter efforts, I actually got rid of my weights and barbell set. A gym membership was worth the extra space in my room.
fitness. Speaking of a gym membership, 2016 is dedicated to making fitness my game — again. I already have a plan set, just gotta keep myself accountable and #makeIThappen.
Do you deal with stress and anxiety too? Just know you’re not alone — I’m right there with ya! What are you doing to manage it? Don’t be afraid to try Natrol 5-HTP Fast Dissolve for a little extra pep in your step!

I love seeing that you’ve been able to take control over your anxiety on your own! I too have anxiety, and am on a perscription med that I HATE. I’m currently weaning myself off of it. The supplement you’re taking seems like it may be a good resource for me too! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you! It can be tough, but I’d rather tackle it only own.
I suffer from major anxiety disorder (I added the ‘major’ in there). I’ve seen a therapist but it didn’t do much – I have just taught myself how to deal and have figured out ways to calm down. Thanks for sharing girl <3
Of course, you’re not alone chica!
Know you’re not alone! I’m here for ya!
Yes I do!!! I struggle with this, and I really have to remind myself that God is in control. I don’t know what tomorrow will bring, but He does, and I have to remember that that is enough. It’s hard…
Yes, little steps 🙂
I get major anxiety with the kiddos. I don’t know if that’s the same, but it sure makes me feel like a head case. I’m pretty sure that’s why I drink.
All kidding aside, I’m glad you’re making progress. Alternative music soothes my soul too!
Thanks chica! Small steps!

Hi Caitlyn! Came over from BGB 😉
Thanks so much for sharing your struggles. Over this past year I’ve realized how much I actually DO struggle with anxiety, more than I’d like to admit. (Unfortunately it runs in my family.) But I’m also seeing now the little steps I need to take in order to manage it. Every day or week is different, but at least I now have something I can wrap my head around as to why I feel the way I do sometimes! I’ll have to look into those tablets. Thanks again!
It’s nice to know we’re not alone! 🙂
