As much as I try to live each day with full intentions…a busy weekend just makes me wanna just live for the weekend. I know ya feel me!
Then, you throw in a tasty beverage like my little creation of Pineapple Crush… And wait, it’s only Wednesday?! And even though the kids are back in school, it’s still summer in Florida with he humidity & heat. I gave myself a mission of creating a simple, refreshing adult beverage that can be made quick. With my go-go-go schedule, sometimes my plans with friends are last minute — making this drink recipe perfect for a last minute get together. And after tasting the variety of wines from CK Mondavi at the Food Wine Conference a few months ago, I knew they would be the perfect match for my Pineapple Crush.
*thanks to the relationship with the CK Mondavi, they did treat me to a few bottles of white wine for drink recipe creations in exchange for a blog post & social media love. All opinions are my own.
I wasn’t kidding! Simple as can be!
CK Mondavi brings us their best from California, their Blonde Five stays true to the name by showcasing flavors of five aromas: honeysuckle & pear for the main course, and also notes of baked apple, honey and lemon zest. These light tastes accompanied the pineapple & lime perfectly — giving it great taste, but not too many tastes to be overbearing.
*if you love a sweeter drink, add CK Mondavi’s Moscato. Like it a little tart or dry, add CK Mondavi’s Pinot Grigio.
This drink was perfect for my weekend; I made the trek to Jacksonville to bid farewell for now to my amazing college roommate, Bethany. With the craziness of moving, my Pineapple Crush was great to enjoy while out with her puppies for a relaxing weekend.
I might be enjoying this again…this weekend! And another drink recipe with CK Mondavi is on desk too; cheers!

Sounds de-lish, Must try. I am a moscato girl, so I’d use that for sure!
