Did you know that I always wanted to play soccer? #randomCaitlynfact
I played for a smidge in elementary school, but was then was put into music —-> and stayed put. However, if I caught a game on TV, I was glued and loved to go to my friends’ games in high school.
Fast forward to college. I played nanny all four years for a few families. One in particular, I played soccer mom. It was the best. There were three girls (one is now in college?!? when did I get that old?) and each of them played. Whenever I watched them over a weekend, I was happy to play soccer mom in the big suburban and loved toting those active girls to & from!
And to now —> as a runner, I still cannot fathom running consistently during a soccer game! I know, I know, I’ve run a few marathons — but I can take a walk break when I want! Soccer players have endurance like a boss! In my opinion, they’re some of the toughest athletes out there!

As a soccer player myself, I can definietly say that soccer players are some of the fittest, toughest athletes. I actually hate running, but I always say “I hate running, unless its after a soccer ball!” I guess I just need the proper motivation 😉

Everyone in my family and everyone in my husband’s family has always played soccer. Fun Fact: My brother played professional for the San Jose Earthquakes. We are now introducing the sport to our little ones! Love this post & love soccer!
