Can you believe it is already almost July? Seems like just yesterday it was the New Year! Even though we are already a third of our way into summer — any plans? I am excited for two trips coming and getting back to a little running!

Speaking of running, you should at least walk at a fast pace into your local Winghouse, for reals. Winghouse has just recently launched their new summer menu and it was quite tasty! Plus, quite a few of the dishes are on the healthier side with grilled chicken or shrimp and veggies. And here I thought they were just known for wings — boy, was I mistaken!
Since beverages are always first, Winghouse created their Smash Cocktails; mixing vodka with citrus flavors is always a win in my book. Cheers!
If you follow me on social media, you know that Mexican food is really the way to my heart (and Deadpool, Marvel, Star Wars & Star Trek — who invited the nerd?!?), so walking into the tasting and being presented with a scrumptious plate of nachos was like heaven. The Pork Nachos were drizzled with all of your favorites, queso, pickled jalapeños, salsa — you feel me. They — were — delish. #Noshamehere, I plan on returning and making these my meal.
Switching gears — one of the lighter dishes was their Chicken Pasta Salad, you could enjoy this with grilled, blackened or fried chicken. I looooved the grilled chicken, it was a great mix with the pasta & veggies.
Random fact: I worked at a meat shop while in college and they also served BBQ, so… BBQ is kinda my thing. And their Pulled Pork Sandwich was on point. The pork was just tender enough and Winghouse has quite the selection of sauces to accompany your sandwich.
Wait a minute…back to Mexican food?? And yes, back to my favorite! Their Summer Tacos have something for everyone. You can choose from Grilled Chicken, Shrimp or Slow Roasted BBQ Pork; my favorite was the Shrimp, but you’ll have to try them for yourself!
And don’t forget the Taco Salad & the Guava Cheesecake — definitely both are a must try!
