Over the last year, I have become quite the movie goer. Not sure why? Maybe my singleness, my love for action on the big screen, or the two hour escape from reality. Regardless, I love them and am excited for a summer filled with blockbusters!

So I wanna know, when you visit the movies, why is it?
do you see the new movie the night it’s released? Yes, that makes you quite the fan (as I raise both of my hands), and there are pros and cons. I have become the pro at seeing movies the Thursday before their actual release, you gotta show up at least an hour early to deal with the line, then file in… But everyone there is there for the love of the movie, they reeeeally want to see and are always considerate and quiet during the show. Plus, there are always cheers & claps at the end. Yes, we may be a nerdy bunch, but you know we’ll be courteous during the show because we want to absorb it all!
do you go for date night? first date? going steady? I have always been a fan of doing a movie for date night, but making sure that there was a coffee break or a quick meal so that you can have some real conversation. Plus, a movie as a date is always a good excuse to do some old-school hand holding and mild cuddles. 😉
At the new Cobb Tyrone Luxury 10, the seats are outta this world. So comfy, can fully recline, and all reserved seating too!
GNO. girls night out. guys night out. You know there’s those chick flicks that you’ll only see with your girls. And those movies that are just for the guys [that I sneak into as the only girl or invite myself too, because I don’t do chick flicks.] Whatever your taste, it’s always fun to grab a drink with friends then relax in another world.
“i’m riding solo. i’m riding solo.” Welcome to the Caitlyn train! I *do not* say that for sympathy, but this is one of my favorite things to do. With my crazy schedule, my inability to say ‘no’, that d@mn anxiety that sometimes smacks me in the face, and busy life of ‘big girl job’ and ‘dream job’, I need an escape. Aaaaaand now you know exactly where to find me if I’m not responding to messages! For reals, the movies have become an escape for me as my solo time, getting myself out of a rut, or even helping my brain get past a writing slump.

I am spoiled living just down the street from my theater — but now I have reason to hit up St. Pete for the ultimate movie viewing experience.
