Last Saturday was Shop Small Saturday and I had the privilege of enjoying VIP treatment thanks to Hyde Park Village and all of their stores!

*thanks to the relationship with theĀ Hyde Park Village, their storesĀ & theĀ Tampa Bay Bloggers, I had the opportunity to participate in VIP love for Shop Small SaturdayĀ in exchange for a blog review & social media love; all opinions are my own.

Our first stop was Piquant, where we were greeted with mimosas and breakfast delectables. Make sure to pay them a visit for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner — you can see my review HERE.

(from Piquant, Pumpkin French Toast, a must try!)

Next, along with members of the South Tampa Chamber of Commerce, Commissioner Sandy Merman joined us. Her big announcement was sharing that Hillsborough County, Florida was proclaiming November 28, 2015, as Small Business Saturday!

Cheers! Now let’s shop!

There is quite the selection of stores to check items off your holiday list in Hyde Park Village. Here is what you can find at a few:

Juxtapose Apparel & Studio: Women’s fashion, home decor, jewelry & accessories with an eccentric, Florida style.

Toffee To Go: Oprah told me to go! This was an item on one of her yearly ‘Favorite Things List’ and I can now see why! They serve toffee that isĀ perfectĀ for gifts. Not too hard to chomp, it comes in three flavors: Milk Chocolate with Almonds, Dark Chocolate with Pecans and White Chocolate with Macadamia Nuts. [While I was here, News Channel 8 did a quick interview with me, you can find more about it HERE.]

Danielle offers personal styling, but if you are doing your own shopping, you can find: cute graphic tees, perfect pieces & outfits for a night out, accessories & jewelry.

Buddy Brew Coffee: Do I need to explain here? haha…. A local craft roaster, their truck visits Hyde Park Village often so that you can have a nice pick-me-up during your shopping adventures. I tried the Cold Brew that day…and let’s just say that I have already been back for more!

SO many great shops popping up in Tampa! If you haven’t already, you should check out the monthly Indie Flea at Rialto. Lots of great small businesses to support.
