As a Tampa native, I feel that it is my due-diligence to share the spots around town for you to hit up & enjoy. Whether it be for some grub, the view, a freebie or just good vibes — I’ll send the info your way!

Although THE SAIL may be a familiar place to you — now there are now even more reasons to visit.
lunch. And this is new! Now, you are able to stop in for their full lunch menu during the work week & weekend. If I worked closer to downtown, I would totally take advantage of their gorgeous, 360 view of the water (Tampa’s only restaurant with this awesomeness) for a quick bit to eat on my lunch break. We all can agree that sometimes it is necessary to get outta of the office and take in some vitamin D! *Meghan and I enjoyed the fish dip as an appetizer and Grouper Sandwich & Burger for lunch! All tasty — and I would order it again too!*
happy hour. If I had to take a wild guess — this is why you have visited in the past…and no shame there! I visited for the same reason too! You can catch their happy hour specials every weekday from 5-7PM. *may I suggest the Grapefruit Tampa Bay Crush*
that view though… Although this is very obvious — one of the biggest reasons I have stayed in Tampa, Florida is the water. It can be calming & still, mesmerizing & breath taking. Now, isn’t that reason enough to enjoy a meal on the water?
location. THE SAIL is in prime location, on the water in between Downtown & Channelside; making them the perfect spot to grab a bite and/or drinks before a Lightning Game, a concert at Amalie, or to start your weekend festivities! Plus, it connects you to the newly extended Tampa Riverwalk — it now ventures down to the Straz Center and Ulele!
