My dad has an appreciation for cars — classic, new, old, but not those that look like a toaster. I guess you can say that I acquired his love for vehicles and a lot of times, that gets funny looks. But I must add a disclaimer that I have no knowledge about cars; I can change a tire — but that is about it. However, appreciating the look, sound, technology & gorgeous body of a car, well I got that covered.

But it is the act of driving that I really love. I am one of those weird individuals that have always loved driving… short distance… long distance… And I’m a much better driver than passenger… Which works out quite well with the reviews I am privileged to do for DriveShop.
I do have reasons that I love driving and I think they’re worth sharing.

*Of course I took a trip to Disney; brought a couple friends along too! The Navigation System was easy to use, understand and in the perfect spot — being the raised screen. Plus, the room in the 2016 Mazda CX-3 Grand Touring AWD was perfect, plenty of leg room for my passengers in the front & back!
it’s my form of therapy. Don’t get me wrong, I love my friends, my networking events, you name it, but this extroverted introvert loves my alone time. Not only it is about the only time that I am ever truly alone, but it’s my time to think, refocus & recenter myself.
music. The band nerd in me never left — I love me some music. Like, love. I will rock it out, rap some and conduct to my favorite soundtracks. Trust me, it is always a concert in my car.
*I’m not joking when I say that white interior is the way to my heart.
events. Of course, my car gets me from point A to point B. With this little blog of mine, it has opened up big opportunities and driving is just a necessity. Good thing I have always loved driving!
friends. Not to brag, but my friends are all over! Not only is a road trip always a good idea — but it’s a fun one! In fact, I took a road trip this weekend to see my college roomie, Bethany before she does a little jaunt up north then heads to Guam.
disney. If you follow me on social media, it’s a love. No, I don’t live there like it might look like…but it is most definitely my happy place. Luckily, a few of my friends have passes too and can join me; so, it’s a fun place for/with friends, or even an escape for my brain. And, well, you gotta get there by car!
